Swimmy ( By: Leo Lionni)

Swimmy is a story about a witty and courageous little fish.
Swimmy was a little black fish, who belonged to a large school of little red fish.
He swam faster than all the little red fish.

One day Swimmy and the little red fish were out swimming and playing when suddenly a huge, fast, hungry tuna fish gulped up all the little red fish.
Swimmy escaped from the tuna fish by swimming deeper in the sea.

While Swimmy swam in the depths of the sea,
he saw a rainbow jelly fish, a lobster, strange fish,
sugar candy rocks growing seaweed,a long eel, and pink sea anemones.

Off in a dark corner, Swimmy spotted a school of little red fish,
just like the other friends he swam with.
Swimmy wanted the little red fish to go swim and play with him,
but the little red fish refused.
The little red fish were afraid if they went swimming and playing with Swimmy,
they would get eaten by the big fish.
Swimmy came up with a plan to trick the big fish,
then they could go swimming and playing without being afraid.
The little red fish would form a big fish by swimming close together and Swimmy would be the eye.
After Swimmy and the little red fish formed this big fish, the huge, hungry tuna fish was chased off.

Now Swimmy and the little red fish were no longer afraid to go swimming and playing with one another again.

Swimmy,

============================================================
